About the Role
We’re looking for a highly motivated Junior Data Analyst to join our growing data team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their data career who is eager to develop their analytical skills and gain hands-on experience working with real-world datasets, tools, and platforms.
You'll work closely with colleagues across the business to help turn data into actionable insights that drive decision-making and improve outcomes. You’ll be supported by a friendly and experienced team committed to helping you grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Support in collecting, cleaning, and analysing data from various sources. Expanding ETL pipelines moving data to our data warehouses
- Building and maintaining dashboards and reports for internal / external stakeholders
- Write and maintain SQL queries to extract and manipulate data
- Support data quality checks and validation processes
- Ensuring robust documentation of workflows and data schemas Collaborate with other team members, including data engineers, analysts, architects and business stakeholders
Essential Skills & Attributes
- Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases
- Strong attention to detail and a logical approach to problem-solving Comfortable working with data in Excel or other tools
- A genuine passion for data and a willingness to learn new tools and techniques
- Good communication skills, with the ability to explain data findings clearly Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience or exposure to any of the following would be a bonus:
- Snowflake (cloud data platform)
- Power BI or other data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker)
- Matillion or other ETL platforms
- Python or other scripting languages for data
- Experience working with large datasets or within a data team Understanding of basic stats (mean, median, mode, standard deviation, correlation).
