The Atlanta Community Food Bank is working to end hunger in our community with the food, people, and big ideas needed so that no one worries about where their next meal is coming from. Since 1979, we�ve provided food for a growing network of nonprofit partners � including food pantries, community kitchens, childcare centers, night shelters, and senior centers. We currently serve more than 700 partners in 29 counties across metro Atlanta and north Georgia.

About the Role:
The Data Analyst I is a member of the Business Intelligence & Analytics team within the Information & Technology Department at the Atlanta Community Food Bank, responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights that empower decision makers across the organization. This role helps champion a data-driven culture and evolve the enterprise data analytics ecosystem by developing Power BI reporting, geospatial analytical tools, and performing ad hoc & recurring food bank analyses. This role serves as a liaison between technical data systems and food bank operations, helping to ensure that data-driven decision-making is embedded in ACFB�s mission to fight hunger. The ideal candidate combines strong technical fluency and business acumen, to accelerate the organization�s maturity in business intelligence and data literacy.
What You�ll Do:
Data Products:
� Contribute to the development and lifecycle management of data products that support ACFB processes, decisions, and strategic priorities.
� Help develop and maintain solutions built in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, ensuring clear documentation, stakeholder alignment, and actionable design.
� Develop and maintain geospatial data products built in ArcGIS to help drive insights at the regional, community, and neighborhood level.
� Help identify and implement automation opportunities using low-code tools, cloud services, and scripting to
increase efficiency and reduce manual work.
Analytics:
� Partner with leadership to perform analyses that explore data in business context,
applying statistical techniques, performance metrics, and visualization to uncover insights.
� Contribute to the development of performance management reporting and help stakeholders track key KPIs and operational benchmarks.
� Promote strong problem-solving frameworks, incorporating both exploratory analysis and structured diagnostic approaches.
� Communicate complex findings to diverse audiences through compelling storytelling, strong visualization, and consultative dialogue.
� Build trusted relationships across ACFB departments, fostering a culture of curiosity, data fluency, and continuous improvement. Our Inclusive Hiring Process:

What You�ll Need: Skills your resume should demonstrate:
? Demonstrated experience in analytics, data strategy, computer science or business intelligence.
? Familiarity with Microsoft Azure ecosystem (Data Factory, Integration Services, SQL, Synapse, Fabric).
? Familiarity with supply chain or distribution business environments
? Demonstrated experience developing Power BI reports, managing semantic models, and automating data workflows.
? Familiarity with geospatial tools such as ArcGIS and their integration into business intelligence use cases.
? Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions and insights.
? Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills. ? Possess good working knowledge with Python, SQL, and PowerApps
