We are looking for a Lead Recruiter to take ownership of our recruitment efforts as we continue to scale. This is a hands-on role where you’ll manage the full recruitment lifecycle, enhance our employer brand, and ensure we attract and retain the best talent to support our growth. This is a hybrid role based in downtown Austin, Texas.
To drive our mission forward, this role will:
Own full-cycle hiring: Lead the recruitment process end-to-end, from sourcing through onboarding, ensuring efficiency and a best-in-class candidate experience.
Partner with leaders: Collaborate with executives and hiring managers to define role requirements, align on talent needs, and shape customized recruiting strategies.
Source and build pipeline: Leverage creative outreach, referrals, and networks to attract top talent today while building a strong bench for tomorrow.
Elevate our brand: Craft job descriptions, refresh career pages, and create candidate-facing content that reflects SafeLease’s culture and values.
Engage externally: Represent SafeLease at events, career fairs, and industry conferences to increase visibility and attract high-quality candidates.
Use data to optimize: Track and analyze recruiting metrics to continuously improve speed, quality, and process effectiveness.
Stay ahead of trends: Monitor the market and apply best practices to keep SafeLease’s recruitment strategies competitive and innovative.
About You
Someone who can attract top talent, partner effectively with hiring managers, and deliver an excellent candidate experience will thrive in this role.
You’ll bring these skills and strengths:
5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, ideally in insurance or insurtech
Demonstrated success sourcing and hiring for a variety of roles, including technical, operational, and leadership positions.
Hands-on and execution-focused, with the ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day recruitment tasks.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple roles and priorities simultaneously.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, able to engage candidates and partner effectively with hiring managers.
Proficient in applicant tracking systems (Ashby preferred) and other recruiting tools, with a data-driven approach to recruitment.
Self-motivated and adaptable, eager to roll up your sleeves and drive results.
