Are you ready to take on a high-impact leadership role shaping the future of Flow for North America? This is a unique opportunity to drive growth strategies, influence global priorities, and lead cross-functional collaboration across our organization.
In this role, you will define and execute growth strategies in alignment with WA and global objectives, with full accountability for the Flow Orders POR. You will report directly to the VP Measurement Solutions North America with a dotted line to the Flow Business Unit President, serving as a member of both leadership teams. You will lead a matrixed cross-functional team in the North America MSOL organization, as well as drive strong growth of Flow products in the North America sales channel through the Measurement Solutions country sales leadership.
Your leadership will optimize our sales channels by establishing robust monitoring systems, conducting in-depth analyses, and developing action plans that drive performance. Success in this role will require strong collaboration with other functions like project pursuit, industry marketing, customer care, integrated marketing, digital sales, and global product management. You will also play a key role in the strategic planning and development process for MSOL in North America and Flow globally.

- Own the BU POR Performance
- Own the Flow Orders POR and process for North America, including annual budgeting, quarterly POR process, monthly Upside/Risk assessments, and effective sales funnel management and forecasting.
- Possess and exercise discount authority, balancing revenue objectives with margin discipline to ensure profitable growth.
- Ensure effective sales processes are established and implement best practices and improvements to drive sales productivity.
- Own the inputs to the Sales and Operations Planning (SIOP) process, ensuring its alignment with business requirements and fostering productive cross-team collaboration.
- Sales Channel Management
- Performance Monitoring and Analysis of Channel Effectiveness: Develop and maintain dashboards to continuously monitor the productivity of each sales channel by reviewing sales data, customer feedback, account distribution, new account acquisitions, churn rates, white space opportunities, and performance against quotas.
- Channel Productivity Reviews: Conduct regular productivity reviews with each region/country to identify country-specific opportunities for enhancing sales results. Provide actionable insights and recommendations, including changes in account allocation and use of alternative distribution channels.
- Strategic Channel Development: Develop and implement training for regional sales management to enhance data-driven assessment of channel and performance.
- Sales Tool Adoption: Support the implementation and adherence to world area sales tool compliance requirements, ensuring regular updates of CRM systems and adoption of other tools as required.
- Incentive Program Management: Oversee the navigation of Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) objectives, ensuring that pay structures and quarterly payouts are executed according to plan. Consider market-specific variables as necessary.
- Develop and Execute Growth Initiatives
- Translate strategic imperatives into a cohesive growth plan that maximizes BU growth in the world area through the development and execution of all relevant value creation actions.
- Map product-specific Value Creation Actions into each country and industry growth plan, ensuring consistency and alignment with the overall strategic targets.
- Develop strategies to enhance price realization and improve market participation by deeply understanding the customer base and competitive landscape.
- Sales campaign definition, development, and deployment
- Collaborate with global Product Management, Industry Management, and Integrated Marketing to define impactful product value drivers, pricing, and tiering strategies for all Sales Campaigns for the BU in the assigned world area.
- Provide input for the creation of campaign playbooks (Sales, Marketing, Training). Deploy the Training playbooks and conduct any additional required training sessions for the sales channel.
- Coordinate the activities of Country Business Development Managers to ensure proper sales campaign execution.
- Support deeper technical and commercial conversations with customers, to allow for adjustment of value propositions where needed
- Product and Portfolio Management
- Manage product line financial targets by monitoring volume, price, and discount trends.
- Engage with customers to inform product roadmaps and to tailor product offerings to industry needs, target applications, and personas.
- Conduct ongoing market assessments, evaluating growth dynamics, product tiering, and competitor behavior to adapt positioning and investment strategies.
- Serve as the primary interface between the World Area and Global Product Companies, collaborating on product roadmaps, tiering, and New Product Development (NPD).
- Ensure channel readiness for the successful launch of new products and services.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field. Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
- Minimum 10 years of sales or marketing leadership or comparable relevant experience in the industry with a proven track record of success.
- Experience with budget management and financial analysis.
- Leadership skills with experience managing both direct and matrixed teams.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $175,000 - $250,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
