This project analyst role will work on projects of limited scope to maximize efficiencies in the organization. Projects range from early-stage diagnostic to wide scale testing and implementation. Works with the organization on projects to improve business strategies and results.  

Responsibilities

  • Works with mid-management in partnership with a more senior peer on projects that help analyze current organizational operations and implement improvements. 
  • Analyzes internal data to identify organizational weaknesses and works with stakeholders to determine and implement solutions to address them. 
  • Actively and regularly meets with and presents to clients. 
  • Delivers projects of limited complexity that involve strategy development and organizational initiatives to maximize efficiencies. Executes and monitors projects and updates project plans, dashboards and project documentation. 
  • Projects include analysis and recommendations related to department initiatives, business process improvement as well as working with leaders and employees to implement changes.   
  • Receives detailed instructions and work is reviewed regularly by supervisor or more senior peers.  
  • After gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the role, straightforward tasks are accomplished with minimal assistance. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field, preferably with a data analysis or project management emphasis. Minimum of 1 year of related experience.  
  • Preferred experience may include project management, facilities management, data analysis, and implementing organizational changes.  
  • Demonstrates a consultant skillset (highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented) and an ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively. 
  • Demonstrates ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment 
  • Able to identify trends and analyze data to impact recommendations.  
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in ways that build and improve relationships. 
  • Ability to appropriately handle sensitive data and documents 
  • Highly skilled in the use of business applications such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.  
  • Experience with project management systems and tools 
  • Capable of performing detailed, technical data analysis.
