New Pig is currently seeking a Product Support Specialist to provide world-class service to both internal and external customers regarding product-related informational needs, to assist with corporate projects and product training. This position requires a positive and detail-oriented individual who is focused on completing accurate work that is in accordance with standards and policies.
Position located at our Duncansville, PA location. Shift is 8:30am-5pm.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and providing product solutions for customers based upon application and regulatory needs via phone, email, chat, and occasionally in person
- Moving customers through the buying journey from application discovery to closure of the sale
- Answering technical questions about our product line to internal and external customers
- Troubleshooting and resolving product problems and issues
- Participating in new product development, including providing input for new ideas, participating in new product introductions, and providing post-launch support
- Assisting in developing and editing technical information for the catalogs, website, content pieces and other promotional material
- Conducting research projects in support of market research, product development, product management, and marketing
- Staying up-to-date on product, industry, and regulatory subjects by completing research and training
- Adhering to New Pig’s Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, Safety Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of environmental and workplace regulations derived from formal study and hands-on application
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a faster-than-average work environment
- Ability to continually multitask in an efficient manner
- Previous customer support/service experience preferred
