Overview of the role
We are looking for a true hunter: a driven and disciplined sales professional with a relentless focus on winning new business. This role is all about generating fresh revenue by opening doors, building a strong pipeline, and converting prospects into long-term clients. Success demands exceptional work ethic, resilience in a competitive environment, and the ability to engage C-level decision-makers with compelling value propositions across our multi-brand portfolio. This quota-carrying role will focus on selling enterprise-level access to our leading financial intelligence platforms—Risk.Net, FX Markets,Waters Technology and our CRO Network —to new business prospects globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Regional Growth Strategy – Shape and execute a business development plan aligned with global objectives, tailored to the dynamics of the global financial markets.
- Revenue Generation – Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and closing, focussing entirely on new logo acquisition.
- Enterprise Engagement – Build trusted relationships with C-suite executives, clearly articulating the value of our product suite in terms of ROI, market insights, and competitive edge.
- Market Development – Spot and seize high-value opportunities across both established and emerging markets to expand brand presence and drive penetration.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with Account Management, Marketing, Content, and Operations teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and long-term account growth.
- Industry Representation – Represent the company at leading financial events and conferences, enhancing visibility and cultivating strategic relationships.
- Reporting & Insights – Maintain accurate CRM records, provide clear revenue forecasts, and deliver actionable market feedback to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Proven Hunter Experience – Minimum 3–5 years of proactive business development, sales, or lead generation experience with a strong track record of consistently exceeding targets.
- B2B Expertise – Demonstrated success in selling to businesses, ideally in financial services, SaaS, data, or related sectors.
- Results-Oriented – A history of overachieving sales goals, with a relentless drive to generate new revenue and win new clients.
- Product & Market Savvy – Ability to quickly understand complex product offerings and translate them into compelling value propositions for prospective clients.
- Financial Acumen – Familiarity with financial concepts and principles as they relate to clients’ needs is highly desirable.
- Location & Commitment – Must live within commutable distance of our London office and be available for at least 3 days in the office per week.
- Educational Background – Bachelor’s degree preferred, but proven sales results and hunter mentality take priority.

- Quick Learner – Ability to rapidly absorb complex information and translate it into compelling sales narratives, quickly grasping the unique value propositions of multiple brands within our portfolio.
- Organised Execution – Strong ability to prioritise, manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, and maintain momentum without compromising on detail or quality.
- Technology-Enabled Selling – Proficient with Salesforce (or similar CRM tools), leveraging data and insights to optimise the sales process, track progress, and drive accountability.
