About Praxis

Praxis began in 2011 with a desire to support and equip Christian entrepreneurs and has grown steadily into a 25+ person, NY-centric team advancing the redemptive quests of founders, funders, and innovators motivated by their faith to address the major issues of our time. As a $12M+/year nonprofit with ambitious growth plans, we're expanding our venture-building work globally, organizing around the major issues of our time, and building media and more to activate the redemptive potential of Christians around the world. We see our team as the first carriers of the mission, building an organization that is great to work at, excellent in its craft, and redemptive in its finances as well as its programs.

A Vision for the Role

As Partner for Finance & Operations, you will serve as a key executive leader and the strategic backbone of Praxis—a trusted advisor to the CEO and broader team whose deep financial acumen and operational expertise makes you the go-to counsel for every major growth decision across our organization. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational excellence, requiring both high-level operational thinking and precise execution as you scale Praxis' financial and operational infrastructure across all verticals during our global expansion. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with other Partners while managing our Senior Manager, Finance & Operations, Director, Systems & AI Solutions, and third party accounting, audit and compliance firms, you will build and oversee the systems, processes, and team that enable Praxis to fulfill its mission of advancing redemptive entrepreneurship at scale. As a Partner at Praxis, you will take strong ownership and responsibility for leading strategy in your domain, building organizational insight, connecting your work to Praxis' economic engine, and growing our economic engine to support our expanding vision, team, and flywheel—producing outcomes that enhance Praxis' reputation and influence in the world. Recognizing that the future of both finance and operations are AI-driven functions, this Partner leads the charge in integrating artificial intelligence and automation throughout our operational ecosystem, positioning Praxis at the forefront of next-generation organizational efficiency. You will seamlessly bridge the gap between our current operational realities and our ambitious future aspirations, providing both the analytical rigor to ground our leadership team in practical constraints and the visionary thinking to architect scalable pathways forward. This role guides critical decisions around establishing international offices, navigating multi-currency operations, managing cross-timezone collaboration, and structuring charitable investment vehicles as needed. With oversight of finance, operations, systems, and technology functions, you will horizontally connect across teams to provide real-time insights into bandwidth allocation, strategic hiring priorities, and comprehensive process engineering that spans everything from contractor engagement to complex calendar coordination. As a key contributor to our most significant grant proposals, this role  will translate our mission into compelling financial narratives while serving as the right hand to our CEO and Managing Partners, integrating HR best practices, internal systems optimization, and team culture development to ensure that every strategic move is both operationally excellent and aligned with our long-term vision for impact.
