Summary:
ATM Deposit Representative is responsible for monitoring and processing of ATM check deposits made at Teachers’ branch locations for accuracy and verification. Audits ATM deposits to ensure accuracy and proper endorsement, approves/discards items as appropriate. Mitigates fraudulent item submissions by discarding the suspicious items and notifying the Fraud Department. Complies with and reviews Teachers’ policies, procedures and guidelines.
Education and/or Experience:
A high school education or GED
Minimum one year of Teller experience with knowledge of financial services systems, products, services, policies, procedures, protocols and applicable laws/regulations required
Job Responsibilities:
Reviews Deposit Image Files through queue to review and process checks deposited through Teachers ATMs.
Reviews individual checks deposited for 9 points of negotiability to decision on approval or rejection on each check.
Adjusts holds as needed on check deposits.
Creates IRD checks for deposited checks rejected and returned to the member.
Processes and approves batches to comply with Fiserv/Accounting requirements
Processes provisional credit for ATM deposit disputes.
Assists branch and call center staff with account research by reviewing notes for each member and utilizing Salesforce for all cases and member follow up.
Review checks received through ATM and compare to known fraudulent members and checks for acceptance or rejection.
Accurately discards suspected fraudulent checks and submits Salesforce cases to the Fraud Department for their follow up and review.
Performs other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor.

The good faith range for this position is $18.60 - $21.85 an hour. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
