The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Office Assistant (Part-Time) to work onsite Monday through Friday, four hours per day. This role supports the daily operations of the office and helps ensure a clean, organized, and well-stocked work environment. Responsibilities include providing backup support to reception, greeting visitors, performing routine inspections of common areas (including kitchens and mailroom spaces), and maintaining inventory and supplies to ensure continuous availability.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform front desk and receptionist duties, including answering and routing phone calls, greeting visitors, receiving packages, and setting up meeting rooms
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate internal meetings
  • Handle photocopying, scanning, and printing of documents as needed
  • Assist in planning and coordinating office events and internal meetings
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing mail and packages; ensure timely sorting and distribution
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of office and breakroom supplies; restock as needed.
  • Conduct routine visual inspections of office areas to ensure cleanliness and organization; break down boxes and store supplies appropriately
  • Operate office equipment such as postage meters and FedEx machines for mailing and shipping tasks
  • Provide general administrative support and assist with special projects or other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Highschool diploma required; Associate degree or equivalent education preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in an administrative or clerical role within an office setting
  • Able to lift 40 lbs
  • Prior experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar administrative support role is preferred
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Positive attitude, resourceful mindset, and excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities in a dynamic work environment
