The role

As the Change and Governance Analyst you will look to support the Oversight and Governance framework across Fund Operations alongside assisting with the successful implementation of the product, proposition and investment changes that impact the Railpen pooled funds.

The key duties will include Oversight and Governance of both the Fund Operations team activities (Fund & Investment Accounting, Investment Tax and Pooled Fund Change) and those of third-party providers, including due diligence and service review meetings. You will act as a Risk Champion for the Fund Operations team by overseeing risk responsibilities and the risk event process as well as participating in change activity that impacts the operating parameters of the Railpen pooled funds.

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.

The person

The successful candidate will have previous governance experience within either an Investment or Asset Management environment. You will have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships across the Fund Operations team and Risk team to ensure the framework and controls in place are championed and potential risks are resolved in a compliant and timely manner. This role will be tasked with pulling together, reporting on and analysing relevant MI, therefore an analytical mindset would be a distinct advantage.

We are looking for somebody with effective communication skills who can communicate in a clear and concise manner whilst working in collaboration to achieve a common goal. You will look to take ownership of tasks and be driven to encourage process change and improvement across Fund Operations.

Our values of integrity, community and alignment are the guiding principles that influence our behaviour. They help us make decisions and shape our relationships with others. They’re what we stand for. You will actively demonstrate our values, helping to create a safe environment, to place the needs of the community above oneself and, through a culture of ‘fair challenge’, align to the best interests of our members.
