The Entry Electronic Assembly Machine Operator role is responsible for operating machines inside of Electronic Assembly (SMT, Selective Solder, Pillarhouse, Conformal Coating) based on manager's discretion/business need.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Operates machines independently and performs basic maintenance when required.

  • Has good working knowledge of polarity and gender.

  • Identifies board defects.

  • Ability to problem solve.

  • Prioritizes workload according to order needs and practices “Flow to The Work” concepts daily.

  • Understands how to correctly use the following functions within AS400 programing (i.e. sending Kanban cards, tracking Kanban card status and history.)

  • Utilizes and maintains Drawings, Bill of Materials, Test Procedures and Method Sheets.

  • Excellent knowledge of ESD protocol and willingness to use protective gear (i.e. shoes, smocks, wrist bands etc.)

  • Demonstrates consistency in practicing all safety procedures.

  • Understands and follows Suspect Material guidelines set by QA.

  • Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment.

  • Completes daily work schedule within expected time requirements with excellent quality.
  • Consistently models the Company values and expected behaviors.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For
  • High School/GED Required
  • 1+ years hand soldering and/or circuit board assembly Required

  • 18 years of age Required
  • Ability to lift or move objects up to 50 lbs. as needed.

  • Excellent vision (ability to distinguish all colors, intricate details and small print).

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

  • Effective communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.

  • Knowledge of basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).

  • Ability to understand manufacturing processes such as Kanban, AS400, BOM viewer, method sheets, etc.

  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment drug screen, background check screen, and motor vehicle
