POSITION CAN BE FILLED IN: MUNCIE, IN LAGRANGE, IL OR WINSTON SALEM, NC

This role is responsible for processes requisitions and provides support for purchasing, supply chain, sourcing, cost, price analyses and contract/purchase order generation.

Key Job Elements

• Work in conjunction with Category Buyers and Managers to perform analytical and administrative tasks in
support of purchasing strategic initiatives.
• Deliver analysis and maintenance of purchasing and quality data including but not limited to, purchase
orders, quotations, invoices, source catalogs, master data, material rejection disposal reports, tooling
records, supplier data and measurements.
• Support customers and customer proposal efforts with pricing information and supplier selection. All
other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• Well ‐developed communication skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Collaborative, interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work across functions to perform work deploying supply chain improvements.
• Demonstrated problem‐solving skills to solve common problems.
• Ability to function as a team player.

Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of standard supply chain systems.

Essential and Physical Activities Functions:
• Strength – Employees may lift up to 10 lbs. during a normal day (ex. Box of paper).
• Motion – Employee will be sitting at a desk for the majority of the day.
• Vision/Hearing Requirements – Office workers may spend long period of time in front of computer
screen. Employees may be exposed to loud noises and machinery in the facility.
• Work Environment – Employee spend a majority of his/her time indoors.
• Emotional Demands – Employee expected to make quick decisions, speak publicly, interpret data, etc.
• Safety – This is not a safety sensitive position but requires adherence to all safety policies/procedures (i.e.
Blue Flag) and use of all required PPE when working in those environments.
