Our opportunity
As Senior Research Analyst, you will provide high quality insights of market performance, risks and return drivers for the Group and external clients. Craft analytics & insights spanning economic, demographic, capital market and property spheres for a variety of internal and external clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Play an integral role in the Group Research team while liaising with business stakeholders from various divisions including Investments, Funds Management, Asset Management, Development, Investor Relations, and Corporate Services on requirements
- Build expertise on property return drivers and become a strong internal point of contact for market intelligence
- Learn the variety of key macro-economic and real estate data sources including key splits & segmentations that underpin investment performance
- Create and supply senior business stakeholders with visual storytelling analytics via charting software
- Problem-solve by transforming granular datasets, internal intelligence and external contacts into relevant insights for business teams
- Play a central role in execution of regular external client reporting products as well as ad-hoc requirements
- Collect, update and maintain sector workbooks, outlook packs, forecast models and chart decks
- Produce quarterly commentary on sectors for internal and external clients and attend presentations with Head of Research and team members
- Work with New Business teams and Strategy teams on content for Group and Division strategy plus project feasibility assumptions, capital partnering initiatives & Investment Committee paper input etc
Your point of difference
You will be professionally qualified in Business/Finance, Economics Property Economics with experience operating at a senior level with translating data into relevant business insights. You will have a strong understanding of Real Estate and/or Investments as well as macroeconomic, capital market, demographic and regulatory concepts and how they impact real estate.
You will have confidence to present at meetings, and have clear, concise writing and presentation skills with demonstrated experience in tailoring output to various audiences.
