Let’s talk about this role 

As a key member of nib’s International Business team, the Partnerships Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the health and wellbeing of members of the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme arriving in Australia. This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of employer partnerships aligned with the PALM scheme, which supports industries such as Agriculture, Hospitality, Fisheries, and Aged Care across rural and regional Australia. 

 

The Partnerships Manager will act as a trusted advisor to employers and their international workforce, ensuring they are equipped to meet their health requirements. Beyond policy management, this role is deeply people-focused, coordinating the delivery of health literacy workshops and webinars that help members navigate Australia’s healthcare system. 

 

This is a unique opportunity to combine strategic account management with meaningful community impact, helping to improve members health outcomes while driving sustainable business growth. 

 

Let’s talk about you 

  • You’re an experienced account or partnerships manager with a passion for building strong, trust-based relationships. 

  • You’re confident presenting to diverse audiences and can tailor your communication to suit cultural and language differences. 

  • You’re proactive, commercially minded, and thrive in a role that blends strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. 

  • You’re open to regular travel across regional and remote Australia to connect with employers and members on the ground. 

  • Youre flexible in your working day and able to support community driven prioritisation. 

  • You have a deep understanding of the international visitor or private health insurance market, or you're eager to learn and grow in this space. 

  • You’re experienced with Salesforce or other CRM tools.
