RCSA Facilitator
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative RCSA Facilitator to join our First Line of Defense team within Northern Trust. This role is instrumental in supporting the execution of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) Program, helping business units identify, assess, and document operational risks and controls in alignment with internal policies and regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate RCSA workshops across business units to guide risk identification and control documentation.
Support the development and maintenance of RCSA documentation, ensuring consistency with enterprise risk framework and standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate control effectiveness and identify gaps or areas for improvement.
Assist in the tracking and reporting of RCSA-related action plans, control testing outcomes, and remediation efforts.
Contribute to the development of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor program health.
Partner with risk governance teams and business leaders to ensure alignment of RCSA activities with broader risk management objectives.
Participate in initiatives focused on process improvement, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in operational risk, internal controls, or risk governance.
Hands-on experience facilitating RCSA processes and workshops.
Strong understanding of risk management principles, control frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process enhancement.
Familiarity with first line of defense operations and risk assessment tools.

Salary Range:
$83,100 - 141,300 USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
