Description

Position Description:

NAYA Family Center is seeking a Data Quality and Reporting Specialist to ensure accurate and timely data entry, reporting, and follow-up for housing and homelessness services. This role supports programmatic decision-making, fulfills contractual and funder requirements, and strengthens NAYA’s ability to deliver wraparound services to the community. The Data Quality and Reporting Specialist is responsible for entering participant data, ensuring data quality, supporting program staff with reporting needs, and occasionally interacting with participants during intake or follow-up. This position plays a critical role in helping NAYA uphold data integrity while supporting our broader mission of serving Native youth, families, and elders.

NAYA offers an exceptional benefits package, including free medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees (with affordable options for family members), a 401(k) retirement plan with a 6% match, paid vacation, and 16 paid holidays.

This is a full-time role with work hours of 9 am to 6 pm with a one-hour unpaid lunch. Some evening and weekend work may be required based on project needs. Once training and onboarding are complete, there may be flexibility to work from home 1-2 days a week with supervisor approval.

The pay rate for this position is $28 to $30 per hour.

Who You Are

  • Ideally, you have lived or professional experience working with diverse populations, particularly within Native American communities.
  • You have experience entering data accurately and consistently in databases, and you understand how data supports program goals.
  • You practice trauma-informed care, non-violent communication, and conflict resolution.
  • You understand confidentiality and data security requirements, including HIPAA and related regulations.
  • You excel at staying organized under multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • You practice good judgment in problem-solving and crisis management, maintaining composure in high-pressure situations.
  • You thrive in a team-oriented workplace, are adaptable, and are willing to roll up your sleeves and pitch in, even when it’s not your job.
  • You possess strong communication skills, engaging effectively with diverse groups and adapting to varied contexts.
  • You demonstrate self-awareness, listening deeply, centering others, and taking accountability for your actions.
  • You are consistently punctual, reliable, and dependable in support of your team and clients.
  • You are comfortable with computer systems and have proficiency in databases, MS Excel, Outlook, and other common tools.

What You'll Do

  • Enter participant data into program databases and case management systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with funder and program requirements.
  • Create and maintain confidential participant profiles to support wraparound service delivery.
  • Track and complete follow-ups, recertifications, and data entry needs, stepping in when turnover or coverage gaps occur.
  • Run program reports in collaboration with the Director, reviewing data for accuracy and compiling quarterly, semi-annual, and annual funder reports.
  • Support staff at khwat yaka haws (Auntie’s Place) with data quality and reporting.
  • Help orient new team members to departmental data collection practices.
  • Maintain data security and confidentiality standards across systems and processes.
  • Provide occasional participant interaction, including eligibility pre-screening, intake, and follow-up by phone or email.
  • Collaborate with the Data and Evaluation Team and program leadership on quality assurance and evaluation projects.
  • Represent NAYA with professionalism in meetings, trainings, and community settings.
