Key Responsibilities
- Providing direct training to core and temp employees
- Developing training curriculum, tools and materials
- Following training curriculum
- Presenting training materials
- Training focused on new hires, refresher and skill development
- Training in classroom and production settings Assessing trainees’ progress and ability to perform in production setting
- Supervising training activity
- Assessing effectiveness of training curriculum, tools, and materials
- Training, preparing and assessing effectiveness of trainers
- Creating and refining skillset assessment tools
- Driving continuous improvement of the training program
- Maintaining a safe, clean and orderly work area
- Finding and supporting opportunities for improved performance, cost-savings and efficiency
- Other duties as assigned
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum three years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Employee training
- Production environment
- Continual improvement projects and initiatives
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to speak and present in a classroom environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Basic user abilities in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work with WMS Software
- Aptitude for project management
- Aptitude for problem-solving
- Self-motivated Flexibility in daily hours worked based on workloads
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced, stressful environment
