This position is responsible for providing nutrition management services to patients in an outpatient and inpatient setting.

Clinic Hours are Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM (Scheduled hours may vary depending on business need)

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics or related field required
- Completion of dietetic internship and trainee program or equivalent required
- Certified Nutritionist Specialist Certification preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts assessments, plans and implements diet recommendations to patients with special health care needs
- Selects the appropriate feeding modality for the patient and accurately calculates nutritional needs. Changes to the nutrition plan of care are made according to findings in a timely fashion
- Provides Nutrition consultation in the assigned interdisciplinary specialty clinics
- Assumes a proactive role with patient/family education and patient/family satisfaction in the practice setting
- Assumes personal accountability to enhance the patient experience by using high quality, patient satisfaction-directed interactions/tools/activities in the execution of duties
- Always interacts with patients and families in a compassionate and respectful manner, at all times
- Documents nutrition care plans and recommendations and ensures timely availability of information for inclusion in the interdisciplinary care plan
- Participates in training of staff, students, and residents; and as requested by Department Manager, mentors, and provides education on areas of expertise

- May include lifting up to 25 pounds
