What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities

  • Process user access requests for accounting systems (additions, deletions, modifications).
  • Assist with and resolve accounting system support inquiries.
  • Document and report potential internal control issues.
  • Foster positive working relationships across accounting, management support services, and other teams.
  • Participate in testing new software and updates to existing systems.
  • Research product documentation and present findings.
  • Help develop and maintain user manuals for primary accounting software.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants on system implementations and integrations.
  • Support onboarding and training for new or enhanced systems, processes, and policies.
  • Engage in cross-training with other accounting departments to identify risks, ensure proper controls, and improve systems and processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • 3–5 years of experience in the real estate industry, with extensive use of software such as Entrata, MRI, Yardi, and Onesite.
  • Preferred experience in ERP system administration and implementation.
  • Proficiency in Excel for data organization and analysis.
  • Strong skills in Word and PowerPoint for documentation and training materials.
  • Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and transparently.
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
