POSITION TITLE:                Grant Project Manager

DEPARTMENT:                     Finance

REPORTS TO:                       Director of Grants Project Performance

SALARY/FLSA STATUS:     Exempt - full Time

We provide vital youth services to children and teens throughout Hillsborough, Pasco, & Pinellas County that helps them reach their full potential.

 


POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The position requires a detail-oriented, self-motivated professional who is flexible, well­ organized, and able to communicate effectively. The Grant Project Manager oversees the day-to-day management of each grant to ensure project performance and measures and delivers outcomes in accordance with federal regulations within program requirements, and policies and procedures. In addition, the Grant Project Manager also submits technical repo1isas required by the funding organization. Under the direction of the Director of Grants Project Performance, the Grant Project Manager will oversee multiple grant contracts.

 


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains an up-to-date and accurate database of proposals and reporting due dates, keeping relevant staff in formed of upcoming deadlines and ensuring on-time and complete follow-through on all grant applications, and reports on awarded grants.
  • Maintains accurate and complete electronic and hard copies of grant files and data for the primary grants as well as any other grants that may be assigned.
  • Serves as liaison between Club staff receiving the award and the gran tor to ensure funder reports are complete, timely, and accurate. Assists in preparation of reports to funding sources.
  • Prepares databases to generate adequate grant and project reports.
  • Team orientated individual working collaboratively with program, finance, IT, and facilities staff on project goals, activities, outcomes, and grant deliverables. Works with accounting on complete and accurate billing of reimbursable expenses.
  • Communicates progress of grant project activities to internal and external audiences.
  • Completes all required training and professional development sessions.
  • Other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor’s degree or direct experience with grants of at least 3 years may substitute for education.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, including an understanding of group dynamics.
  • Proven history of managing grants from private, corporate, and /or government sources.
  • Expertise in nonprofit financial report in g, budget development, and grants compliance.
  • Proficiency with grant databases and CRM systems.
  • Exceptional written communication, attention-to-detail, and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of Boys and Girls programs are a plus.


TRAVEL:

 

Travel may be required to multiple Club facilities and grant funders throughout Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco County for training and/or other business purposes.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Hybrid work schedule with in-office expectations as defined by the department.
  • Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required for events or deadlines.
