  • 6:00 am – 3:00 pm (Monday - Friday) Onsite

Compensation

At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $36,100 - $45,100. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C’s annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria. 

Join Our Team as a Stockroom Coordinator Assistant!

In this job, you will work on inventory tasks in support of Maintenance Stores activities. This work requires identifying and counting parts This position reports to the Stock Room Supervisor. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with maintaining inventory count accuracy and item records for all parts and materials being stored.
  • Locating items using inventory records.
  • Updating item location and other inventory information.
  • Assist with performing physical inventory count.
  • Supporting computer-based data entry/record maintenance.
  • Maintain 5S standards.
  • Follow Standard Work Documents. 

What you’ll Need To Succeed:

  • Computer and data entry skills. Microsoft Excel and Word experience.
  • Mathematical, mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • 0 - 1 years of experience with shipping/receiving or related experience.  Fundamental computer skills, Microsoft Excel and Word.

Education: 

  • High school diploma

Major Physical Demands:

  • Standing: 50 to 60% of the tasks are performed in a standing position.
  • Lifting: Frequent lifting of items in range of 1 lb. to 40 lbs.
  • Walking: Occasional walking of moderate distances (less than 1/4 mile).
  • Carrying: Frequent carrying of items ranging in weight from 5 lbs. to 25 lbs.
  • Pushing: Occasional use of hand truck to move parts a moderate distance or to restock inventory items.
  • Pulling: Occasional use of hand truck to move parts a moderate distance or to restock inventory items.
  • Bending: Frequent bending and crouching required during the storage and disbursement of parts.
  • Reaching: Full range of motion from above the shoulders to below the knees.
  • Handling: Frequent handling of parts of various sizes along with a variety of hand tools.
  • Other: 10 - 50% of time entering data using computer keyboard.
