MedRx is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Production Technician to support audiology equipment and proprietary software applications. This hands-on role includes technical support, equipment preparation, and troubleshooting, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and customer service.
This is a full-time, on-site position located at the MedRx office in Largo, FL. Standard working hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Pay: $18.00/hr - $19.00/hr

Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional technical support for our proprietary applications as a member of our software helpdesk via phone, support portal and remote assistance tools.
- Perform supervised troubleshooting and installations on a wide range of audiology equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of customer contacts and equipment.
- Keep product knowledge current and attend all required training.
- Work with supervision and make an established range of decisions, escalating to management when necessary.
- Perform a variety of duties with frequent interruptions or distractions, adjusting priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
- Prepare equipment for sale using required documentation.
- All other duties assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; priority will be given to candidates completely fluent in English and Spanish.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail while effectively managing multiple tasks and frequent interruptions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable, punctual and reliable; able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with database management systems required.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least two years related experience required.

Physical Requirements:
- Must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes; performs mechanical trades tasks of a non-repetitive nature.
- Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.
- Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips.
- Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
- Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.
- Medium work. Exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently to move objects.
- Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires substantial use of upper extremities and back muscles.
- Clear background check including criminal history and education verification.
- Must pass Drug Test.
