About the job you’re considering

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Conversational AI Platform Engineer to enhance and maintain our Java-based AI platform integrated with Azure OpenAI services. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building intelligent, chat-based interfaces that empower users to interact with enterprise data seamlessly.

Your role

  • Enhance and maintain a Java-based conversational AI platform integrated with Azure OpenAI libraries.
  • Design and implement natural language interfaces enabling users to query enterprise data through chat-based interactions.
  • Build and maintain conversational bots that handle user queries and return relevant, actionable data.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure smooth integration with data lakes and both structured/unstructured data sources.
  • Apply data mining techniques to extract insights and improve the relevance and accuracy of AI responses.
  • Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are upheld across all AI solutions.
  • Implement NLP, machine learning, and data processing pipelines to support intelligent user interactions.
  • Optimize performance and scalability of AI components within enterprise-grade Java applications.
  • Monitor and evaluate AI models in production, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and responsiveness.
  • Stay current with advancements in LLMs, generative AI, and cloud-native AI services.

 

Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on AI/ML applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, NLP frameworks, and machine learning pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of data integration, data lakes, and enterprise data architecture.
  • Familiarity with data governance, security protocols, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
