Course Number, Section, and Name: JSGS 802.3 Public Finance
Term and Course Dates: January 6 to April 7, 2026

Delivery Mode: This course will be offered in person.
Course Schedule:
Mondays, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Expected Enrollment Limit: 25-30
Location: Saskatoon
Qualifications: Minimum of a Master’s degree in economics, public policy, public administration, or a related discipline is required; PhD degree preferred. Work experience in the public sector is strongly preferred. Previous teaching experience would be considered an asset. Registration in the PhD in Public Policy program in the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy at the University of Saskatchewan is required.

Term and Course Dates: January 6 to April 7, 2026

Qualifications: Minimum of a Master’s degree a PhD degree is preferred in public administration, public policy, or a related discipline. Familiarity with the MPA competencies is required. Experience working in the public sector is preferred. Previous teaching experience, particularly at the graduate level, would be considered an asset. Registration in the PhD in Public Policy program in the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy at the University of Saskatchewan is required.

Course Number, Section, and Name: NORD 847.4 Circumpolar Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Term and Course Dates: January 6 to April 7, 2026

Delivery Mode: This course will be offered online.
Course Schedule: Asynchronous

Expected Enrollment Limit: 15-20
Location: Saskatoon
Qualifications: Minimum of a Master’s degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, or a related discipline; a PhD degree is preferred. An understanding of innovation and entrepreneurship in the Northern context is required. Experience teaching in an online setting is considered an asset. Registration in the PhD in Public Policy program in the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy at the University of Saskatchewan is required.

A valid driver’s license is required for any off-campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
