Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and dynamic teammates.
You'll drive the execution of projects with no-criticality, ensuring contractual requirements and customer expectations are met, while optimizing financial performance and delivering on time. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as engineering, operations, and finance), define project strategies in line with contract requirements, and manage customer and stakeholder relationships, and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Defining project strategy in line with contract requirements and allocating objectives to sub-systems (planning, cost, quality, performance),

  • Accountability for project Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Planning (QCDP) performance,

  • Leading and coordinating project activities and stakeholders from transfer to close-out, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with goals,

  • Managing resources and leading core teams, including internal and external project managers and partners,

  • Maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, both internal and external, to ensure alignment and satisfaction,

  • Representing the project to Alstom management and providing regular updates on progress,

  • Proactively managing risks, identifying savings opportunities, and driving continuous improvement.

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field,

  • Experience or understanding of managing operational scopes and leading multi-functional teams,

  • Knowledge of project management processes and methodologies,

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills,

  • Coordination skills to manage complex projects and stakeholders,

  • Ability to work in multicultural environments and adapt to different business cultures,

  • Familiarity with railway products and systems - desirable.

Things you’ll enjoy

Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Work with diverse, multi-national teams across various business cultures,

  • Progress towards becoming a leader in project management, while honing skills in negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management,

  • Contribute to innovative projects,

  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries,

  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, 401k).

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
