RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform routine and emergency repairs on building systems and equipment (e.g., doors, locks, lighting, fixtures).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues.
  • Prep and paint walls, ceilings, trim, and other surfaces as needed.
  • Repair drywall, patch holes, sand, and finish for clean appearance.
  • Assist with or lead light construction projects such as installing flooring, cabinetry, partitions, or fixtures.
  • Modify or update facility spaces as directed (e.g., converting offices, updating finishes).
  • Receive, prioritize, and complete work orders or project tasks in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communicate project timelines, materials needed, and progress with supervisors or managers.
  • Travel between multiple company locations as needed to complete work.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at each job site.
  • Ensure work complies with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in general maintenance, carpentry, painting, light remodeling, or similar work
  • Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, and finish work
  • Current Driver’s license, in good standing
  • Experience in long-term care helpful, but not required
