Work Type: Full-time; Exempt
Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 12:00PM - 8:30PM with availability for special events
Hourly Salary: $25.87 - $31.06

As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will:
  • Perform regular inspections of parking facilities to assess structural integrity, appearance, and safety conditions
  • Troubleshoot complex issues with parking meter systems and garage gate equipment using standard diagnostic tools and techniques
  • Lead and assign work to staff performing semi-skilled maintenance and repair tasks, review completion of work for quality and compliance with policies and procedures
  • Safely operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, saws, grinders, paint machines, welders, and core drills, in accordance with safety standards
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with the public, internal departments, and external agencies or organizations
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, operations, inventory, and process related work orders
  • Perform and oversee routine and project-based maintenance tasks
  • Develop, adjust, and manage work schedules for assigned projects and staff
  • Respond to and resolve citizen inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate: 
Knowledge of:
  • Facility maintenance, repair methods, and best practices
  • Occupational hazards and applicable safety procedures
  • Relevant federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations

Ability to:
  • Demonstrate strong communication and leadership
  • Independently perform skilled maintenance and repairs on parking meters and related equipment
  • Work with frequent interruptions and changes in priority
  • Safely operate tools, equipment, and fleet vehicles
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and the public
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing

Position Duties

  • Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade (high school diploma or GED)
  • Five years of professional, full-time facility maintenance and repair experience
