About the role
This position is responsible for leading and supervising all production department team members to achieve the daily, weekly, and monthly goals. The Production Supervisor is responsible for working directly under the Production Manager and the Assistant Production Manager, as well as supervising all Production teams to accurately forecast future demand, clearly communicating the plans to the teams, training new and existing employees on the proper techniques, and keeping the consistent flow of finished, quality products to inventory. The Supervisor will make final approvals of all planning from the Captains of the departments according to KPI standards and demand. The Production Supervisor will ensure all employees in the Production facility consistently adhere to AZDHS standards according to the state’s laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates with the Production Manager/Assistant Production Manager and all department Captains on expectations for Daily/Weekly/Monthly goals for production
- Maintains inventory levels and production standards
- Oversees inventory levels and updates reports as needed to reflect sales data
- Recognizes areas of opportunity that improve safety, product quality, cost, productivity, and employee morale
- Works with operations to ensure all KPIs are being met or exceeded; where necessary, identifies gap solves and works to resolve areas of opportunity
- Presents KPI targets and results during weekly management meetings with the Production Manager, Assistant Production Manager, and Captain’s; collaborates cross-functionally to find unique areas of continuous improvement
- Responsible for day-to-day operations and performance of the Production departments in accordance with Timeless standard operating procedures while also identifying areas of improvement
- Create, develop, and update S.O.P’s, workflows, and training guides for Production
- Assist the Production Captains with the training of production line employees as required
- Tracks product and maintains documentation standards, ensuring products are accounted for and accurate throughout the production process
- Accountable for the accuracy and completeness of EOD reports
- Ensures that all functions are performed to the highest standard of quality and compliance and successfully conform to all state regulations, organizational standards, policies and procedures, safety and security protocols.
- Reviews finished product packaging and paperwork to ensure state compliance accuracy
- Maintains the highest levels of cleanliness and sanitation inside the Production facility. Participates in the clean-up of equipment and the workplace at the end of every day during the walk final walk through
- Submit new orders for lab testings (Confident Cannabis, LIMS, etc)
- Communicate with other production staff members to ensure efficient production, appropriate output levels, and minimize set-up times.
- Accurately schedule and plan labor needs while staying within the approved budget
- Ensure the Production Captains and crew members adhere to meal and break periods as applicable according to the handbook
- Coordinate with Production leadership for supplies and equipment needs to operate effectively and efficiently
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of the company to all team members at all times
- Participate in strategic discussions about the company, direction, execution, etc
- Engage in honest, innovative, problem-solving dialogue
- Accountable for following proper protocol on all employee corrective actions and requests, such as (Transfers/Hiring/Termination)
- Must be trained and certified on all software and machinery used within the department
- Performs pre-shift equipment checks to ensure proper functioning
- Assist with additional tasks as delegated by the Production Manager and the Assistant Production Manager
- Oversee all time adjustments, time off requests, time edits, etc to ensure accurate timekeeping and labor allocations
- Assists in the Interview, Hire and Training process for qualified candidates

- Support the Captain(s) in Production with training, coaching, supervision, and disciplining appropriately within the department. Be prepared to communicate, document, and report towards employees’ performance, behavior, and attendance

Candidate Qualifications
Availablity
- Monday through Friday - 3 pm to 11pm

- Knowledge of all department operations and regulatory guidelines
- Ability to perform calculations for projections and planning

- Ability to effectively troubleshoot issues

Experience/Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a quality or manufacturing department of a pharmaceutical or Medical Marijuana facility
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age; according to A.R.S. §36-2801.10
- Must consent to a criminal background check performed by the Company and the Arizona Department of Health Services, according to A.R.S. § 36-2804.01
- Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of the criminal background check conducted by the Arizona Department of Health Services, according to A.R.S. § 36-2804.01 and A.R.S. §36-2801.10
- Valid Arizona State Issued ID
- Experience within a fast-paced and regulated environment
- Must be authorized to work in the US.

- Valid Facility Agent card through AZDHS

- The Supervisor must occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds
- The Supervisor must be able to be perform all duties on their feet during an 8, and up to a 12 hour shift
- Throughout extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the work day.
- Must be capable of working in front of a computer for extended periods of time based on job duties listed above.
Compensation
Base Range
- $20.00/hour
