Position: Legal Assistant

 

Level: 2-3 years relevant work experience

 

Studio/Department:  Legal

 

 

 

Rockwell Group, an award-winning architecture and multi-disciplinary design firm, seeks a full-time Legal Assistant with experience working in a fast-paced environment. This individual should be versatile, possess excellent communication skills, and be prepared to support a dynamic and creative office.

 

Role:

Candidate will work closely with the Chief Legal Counsel.

 

Main responsibilities include:

  • Word processing and copy-editing contracts and other legal documentation

  • Managing digital and physical legal files

  • Managing legal Databases

  • Support Design Staff, accounting, marketing, HR, and PR with legal matters

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or other equivalent degree).

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in similar roles.

  • Strong Interpersonal skills and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication, reading, and writing skills.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks excellent attention to detail.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat

  • Experience in legal department of design, construction, entertainment or real estate industry is a plus.

 

General Information:

This is a Full Time – In Studio position.  Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience ranging from $50,000 to $75,000 excluding bonuses and other benefits. This is a good faith estimate based on the expectations as laid out in the job description.  The position offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, life insurance, 401k plan, and yearly performance reviews.
