Job Summary: The Beer Key Account Manager will be responsible for sales, distribution and promotions for the entire A/B package portfolio including specialty products, that are presented and sold into designated accounts. This position is also responsible for all Schematic’s, Floor Activity, retail pricing and POS materials in these assigned accounts.

Essential Responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Complete knowledge of pricing including promotional & competitive
  • Must provide leadership, and direction for the entire sales Team
  • Keep current on all authorizations and programs
  • Develop & maintain all product sell – in sheets
  • Facilitate all information pertaining to new products to Retail Trade
  • Must be able to work closely with the Marketing dept to develop programs aimed at growing assigned accounts.
  • Monitor any quality control issues ensuring product is depleted in the allowable amount of time
  • Maintain account call schedule with suppliers focusing on assigned chain accounts
  • Participate in monthly goals for sales representative impact objectives
  • Develop programs to support assigned brands
  • Maintain a Ride-With Schedule with Sales Representatives –minimum ½ day per week
  • Facilitate communications between Retailers and Nevada Beverage Co
  • Must be available to entertain Retailers and Suppliers after normal work schedule as well as weekends

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Monitor brand trends, setting distribution goals
  • Work with suppliers on new products, “Blitz Week” and “Crew Drives”
  • Work closely with Team Leaders, VP’s and /or Sales manager regarding all brand and sales information
  • Monitor seasonal products and communicate with sales representatives on inventory levels
  • Be prepared to present Retail information at sales meetings 
  • Develop and implement market plans and promotions
  • Must be proficient with margin minder to track and measure sales and distribution of assigned chain accounts

Required Skills/Abilities: 

The Key Account Manager must have good customer service skills and present themselves in a professional, neat and clean manner at all times, always representing the company positively. Must be self-motivated and organized. Product knowledge is essential as well as selling skills. Must be able to speak, understand and write the English language. A valid, Driver’s License is required along with a good driving record. The Driver’s License must be always maintained. Must have knowledge of basic computer applications. Must attend all required Anheuser-Busch and Nevada Beverage Company training courses. The ability to sit, stand, and walk is required as well as minimal lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally. The work environment characteristics are representative of those found in a normal office environment with low to moderate noise level.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma required; previous experience recommended but not required.
