Position:                        Paraprofessional

                          W.E.B. Du Bois Regional Middle School

Requirements/Qualifications:          

Associates Degree or High School Diploma with a passing grade on Paraprofessional exam.  Demonstrated experience working with students with Special Needs, IEPs and behavior plans.  De-escalation training preferred.  May require lifting of up to sixty (60) pounds and/or assistance with personal hygiene. Other qualifications as established by the District.             

Start Date:      As Soon As Possible

            (School Year Position - paid for 6 ½ hrs./day - workday 7 hrs./day with ½ hour unpaid lunch)

Salary/Stipend:             As per BHEA Unit C Contract

                      (range $18.00 to $21.20 per hour, based on previous experience)
