How you’ll contribute

An AVP, Strategy and Special Projects who excels in this role:

  • Leads planning, coordination, and execution of key strategic projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, scope, and quality standards are met.

  • Creates and maintains project charters, work plans, risk assessments, and communication plans.

  • Establishes standardized project management processes and governance across the division to improve efficiency, outcomes, and alignment.

  • Facilitates regular project review meetings to monitor progress, remove barriers, and ensure accountability.

  • Acts as a central point of coordination between clinical, administrative, and operational teams on enterprise-wide projects.

  • Manages vendor relationships and external partnerships related to division-wide initiatives.

  • Leads special initiatives on behalf of the Division President, including presentations, strategic partnerships, and external relations.

  • Translates strategic priorities into actionable plans, ensuring timely execution across the division.

  • Develops frameworks and tracking systems to monitor KPIs, progress, and risks.

  • Serves as a force multiplier for the executive team by managing information flow, prioritizing tasks, and preparing briefing materials.

  • Champions innovation by identifying process improvements, technology integrations, and service enhancements.

What we’re looking for

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a behavioral health–related field (required). A master’s degree is preferred. Additional requirements include:

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, project management, leadership, and strategy.

  • Experience in the field of behavioral health (required).

  • Expertise in behavioral health, with a proven track record of driving performance and leading complex, cross-functional projects.

  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to build trust, foster collaboration, and influence across diverse senior leaders and teams.

  • Strong executive presence with discretion, diplomacy, and adaptability in navigating sensitive situations.

  • Commitment to improving patient outcomes and addressing disparities.
