The Digital Marketing Specialist plays a key role in driving member engagement, product adoption, and revenue growth through strategic digital campaigns. This role is responsible for optimizing the member journey across digital channels, managing data-driven marketing initiatives, and maintaining a clean, actionable inventory of marketing data.
What You’ll Do
- Enhance the member journey across digital channels by identifying opportunities to improve engagement and satisfaction.
- Drive product adoption through targeted campaigns that promote checking accounts, loans, credit cards, and more.
- Support revenue growth by optimizing digital marketing strategies and measuring campaign performance.
- Manage digital content across our website, email, and advertising platforms to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Maintain a clean data inventory, leveraging analytics tools to track KPIs and generate actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
Member Journey Optimization
- Map and analyze the digital member journey to identify friction points and opportunities for engagement.
- Develop and execute targeted campaigns that guide members through awareness, consideration, and adoption of credit union products and services.
- Collaborate with UX, product, and member service teams to ensure a seamless digital experience.
- Product Adoption & Revenue Growth
- Plan and implement digital campaigns that promote key financial products (e.g., loans, credit cards, checking accounts).
- Use A/B testing, segmentation, and personalization to increase conversion rates and product uptake.
- Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies to maximize ROI and member value.
Data & Performance Management
- Maintain a comprehensive inventory of marketing data, including campaign metrics, member behavior insights, and product performance.
- Leverage analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM platforms) to track KPIs and generate actionable insights.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure data integrity and alignment with compliance standards.
Digital Channel Management
- Manage content and updates across the credit union’s website, email platforms, and digital advertising channels.
- Ensure all digital content aligns with brand standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support SEO, SEM, and paid media efforts to drive traffic and engagement.

Requirements
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in financial services or member-based organizations.
- Proficiency in marketing automation, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of digital member behavior and lifecycle marketing.
- Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills.
Education/Certifications/Licenses
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field.
