Position Summary
The Inventory Lead is responsible for overseeing daily inventory operations, shipping and receiving, and ensuring accuracy across all inventory processes. This role requires strong leadership to guide warehouse staff, ensure compliance with company procedures, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Adherence to BWT’s policies—including attendance, standards of conduct, and our Drug-Free Workplace—is essential to success in this role, along with a commitment to reliability and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and audits.
- Lead shipping and receiving functions, ensuring proper documentation and accuracy.
- Supervise, train, and assign tasks to warehouse staff, monitoring daily performance.
- Organize and improve warehouse layout to optimize productivity and safety.
- Track inventory transactions in the system and resolve discrepancies.
- Develop and enforce safety and compliance standards within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with other departments to align inventory with operational goals.
- Analyze inventory trends and contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse in accordance with company standards and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management or warehouse operations.
- Proven leadership and team supervision experience.
- Proficient in inventory management software and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Forklift Operator Certification preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse best practices.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.
- Other duties as required by management.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly Pay Rate: $22.00–$25.00, based on experience.

- Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
PPE Requirement
