SUMMARY | ||
The Multi-Unit Practice Manager is the financial and operational leader of 2-3 hospitals within a geographic region. He/She works together with the hospital leadership as well as CVP to ensure efficient day to day operations and successful financial performance. The Area Practice Manager leads by example to motivate and inspire the team to provide an excellent experience for our clients and their pets. | ||

In addition, the Practice Manager may work scheduled shifts during which he or she will be responsible for providing client service and/or direct patient care. | ||
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES | ||
The Multi-Unit Practice Manager is responsible for managing all hospital team members and directly supervisors hospital Office Managers.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE | ||
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to five years of veterinary or human healthcare experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS | ||
Certification in Veterinary Practice Management preferred.

COMPUTER SKILLS | ||
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have; MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint. Experience with Veterinary software a plus.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS | ||
The Area Practice Manager is required to travel between their assigned hospital/clinics on a regular basis ensuring attention is provided similarly. The Area Practice Manager is also required participate in operational meetings hosted by CVP. Potential to attend off site conferences, seminar and workshops.

This job operates in a professional animal hospital/clinic. This role may have exposure to electromagnetic radiation, anesthetic gases, unpleasant odors, noises and animal feces. May be exposed to bites, scratches and contagious diseases. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
