Minimum Qualifications:
- Certification as a CPI Instructor or equivalent recognized certification in crisis prevention and intervention.
- Experience working in healthcare or a related environment with exposure to behavioral health or crisis management.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Ability to demonstrate physical CPI techniques safely and effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare, behavioral science, or related fields is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in behavioral health, social work, nursing, or psychology.
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Experience using digital training tools and learning management systems.
- Bilingual abilities or experience working with diverse populations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive CPI training programs to healthcare staff, including classroom instruction and practical demonstrations.
- Assess the effectiveness of training sessions through evaluations and feedback, making adjustments to improve learning outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CPI protocols, healthcare regulations, and best practices to ensure training content remains current and relevant.
- Collaborate with healthcare leadership and safety teams to identify training needs and schedule sessions accordingly.
- Document training activities, attendance, and participant progress in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
