Capital Markets (Business Development) Internship

Internship Program: 

The CenterSquare internship is a 10-week program (June-August). As an intern, you will work alongside the Capital Markets team as they support the business development, investor relations, and consultant efforts spanning the firm’s private equity real estate, private debt real estate, and listed real estate strategies. The internship can be based in CenterSquare’s Conshohocken, PA or NYC office and is an in-office position.

Description:

• Receive on the job training & special projects, as well as daily responsibilities to support the team
• Participate in client, prospect, and consultant calls 
• Assist with prospect mapping and research to develop action plans across offerings
• Capture and maintain Salesforce data, including adding new accounts, contacts, and recent real estate investment activity
• Attend lunch and learn sessions to gain an understanding of how the firm operates
• Exposure to senior leaders with extensive knowledge and experience in the industry
• Interns will get to participate in various social networking activities over the course of the summer

Qualifications:

• Strong academic background and GPA, majoring in finance, accounting or economics 
• A keen interest in real estate, the stock market and/or macroeconomic events
• Superior knowledge of excel required (i.e. vlookups, macros and index)
• Strong PowerPoint skills preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Outgoing personality, demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task
