SUMMARY
Provide diagnostic audiology services including audiological assessments and testing, ABR and OAE testing. Provide hearing aid dispensing, repairs, and related services for hearing aid technology. Provide assistive listening device consultation, dispensing, and related services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Provide audiology services to clients/patients including exam, diagnosis, treatment, fit/dispense, and follow-up, according to established appointments and walk-ins.
- Explain to clients the terms of sales agreements, warranties, and fee structure.
- Provide appropriate documentation of patient services in electronic medical record platform including, but not limited to, authorizations, case notes, communication with collaborating providers and payers, and required reporting.
- Assist with lab/repairs, maintaining lab, and program supply orders.
- Assist with battery program including case notes and documentation.
- Assist with maintenance of hearing aid bank stock, eligibility, and provision of audiological services.
- Provide assistive listening device consultation, dispensing, and related services.
- Collect statistical data and other information in compliance with various reporting requirements.
- Assist with outreach, education, and marketing of clinic.
- Educate patients on ways to prevent hearing loss.
- Supervise Audiology graduate students.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Master's Degree in Audiology required, AuD preferred.
- CCC-A/Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
- Must hold or be eligible for an Illinois Audiology license.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High performance, strong team player with ability to work independently.
- Computer proficient.
- Spanish required, American Sign Language a plus.
- Excellent professional, interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
