Position Summary
Directs the daily operational activities of the department assuring that all quality and standards are met by making personal daily rounds,
signing inspection reports, and responding promptly,safely, and efficiently to all service or customer requests. The supervisor oversees all
operations in the absences of the Operations Manager.
Education/Training
Associate degree required. Two (2) years of directly related work experience may substitute for the Associate degree (in
addition to the requirements listed in the Experience section).
Licensure/Certification
None.
Experience
Three years of experience in health care, not-for-profits, working with volunteers, hospitality or related experience.
Computer skills including word processing, spread sheets and Microsoft Outlook required. A Bachelor’s degree may
substitute for up to two (2) years of the required experience
Essential Functions
• Assures adequate number ofstaff and supplies.
• Ensuresthe staff is professional in their conduct and appearance.
• Assistsin controlling expenses within his/her area ofresponsibility.
• Supportsthe Manager of Campus& Facilities Developmentin attaining the financial goalsfor his/her area.
• Responsible for accuracy and timelines ofreports, financial data, and statistics.
• Responsible for productivity and staffing that is appropriate to his/her area.
• Demonstrates a proactive and enthusiastic attitude in striving for and meeting the department’s goals and objectives.
• Exhibits good communication and listening skills with customers, physicians, otherstaff, and their associates.
• Promotesteamwork within their assigned process or department and within the organization.
• Coaches and counsels team members as needed; provides continuous feedback on performance and applies appropriate
development tools to assist in their individual growth.
• Maximizes customer and guestsatisfaction.
• Ensuresthat all work assignments are carried out properly, safely, and completely within the allotted time schedule, assuring that
the quantity and quality of the work meets allstandards even if he/she must perform some duties, as occasions may arise.
• Understands and complies with Safety and Infection Control practices within his/her areas ofresponsibility.

• Operates UV disinfection machine as needed or according to policy.
• Completes other assigned task by EVS Leadership.
• Identifies and utilizes appropriate resourcesto ensure identified problems or concerns are followed through and resolved.
• Reports unsafe situations and turnsin Engineering Service Requestsforrepair.
• Communicates orally orin writing openly and candidly, creates an environment where can do likewise.
• Respectfully listensto viewpoints and ideas of others.
• Ensuresteammembers are properly trained and attends all departmenttrainings.
• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal,
state, and local standards.
