About the Role
Retail Without Boundaries is a creative agency based in Pittsburgh, powered by the national production strength of our parent company, Innomark Communications. We specialize in retail and experiential projects that require both big-picture thinking and meticulous attention to detail. We’re looking for a Project Manager who’s wired for ownership—someone who can confidently take the reins, juggle competing priorities, and keep work moving without needing to be micromanaged.

This is not a behind-the-scenes coordinator role. You’ll be client-facing, hands-on, and central to our process—from the first conversation to final installation. You’ll work closely with the Sr. Account Director, and together you’ll shape how work flows through the business. The Sr. Account Director leads with an entrepreneurial mindset and is looking for someone who does the same—driven, solutions-first, and never satisfied with "just good enough."

The Ideal Fit
If you’ve ever worked in the service industry, you already understand what makes this job tick: urgency, awareness, people-reading, and knowing what needs to happen now vs. what can wait 10 minutes. You love spinning plates, anticipating needs, and being the calm in the chaos. You’re the kind of person who sees problems coming before they land—and quietly handles them.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the day-to-day management of retail and experiential projects, from kickoff to delivery and install.
  • Create production timelines and manage deliverables against tight deadlines.
  • Review architectural drawings and 3D renderings as needed to flag potential issues.
  • Build and manage estimates, working with our internal team and vendors to protect profit margins.
  • Oversee print and fabrication teams (based out of our Dayton, OH facilities) and hold partners accountable to timelines, budgets, and quality.
  • Conduct occasional site visits or install supervision as needed.
  • Keep our clients in the loop with clear, proactive communication.
  • Meet regularly with internal creative and production teams to ensure work is tracking and aligned.
  • Collaborate directly with the Sr. Account Director to troubleshoot, escalate, and evolve our process as we grow.

What You Bring

  • 3–5+ years of experience in project management (retail, fabrication, experiential, or creative agency work is ideal—but if you’ve managed people, timelines, and chaos in another field, we’re listening).
  • Strong organizational instincts and the ability to prioritize competing needs without dropping the ball.
  • A collaborative mindset, with excellent communication and follow-through.
  • Confidence to speak up, problem-solve in real time, and take initiative.
  • Familiarity with production methods, materials, and working with vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Workfront and Adobe Creative Suite are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for installs or vendor/site meetings.
  • A high standard of execution—you don’t settle, and you don’t expect others to either.

Bonus Points If You:

  • Have experience with environmental graphics, POP, signage, or architectural installs.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, detail-heavy environment and love building new systems as you go.
  • Are looking for a long-term role where you can grow into something bigger.

Work Environment

  • Based in our Pittsburgh office, with occasional travel to client locations or our Dayton-area production facilities.
  • This role involves both desk work and hands-on involvement—every day is different.
  • Light lifting (up to 10 lbs) and site walk-throughs may be required occasionally.

Why You’ll Love It Here
You’ll be part of a tight-knit, no-nonsense team that values sharp thinking, mutual respect, and high standards. There’s room here to define your own path, shape how we work, and make a real impact—without layers of red tape. If you're entrepreneurial, driven, and excited to lead, not just support, you’ll thrive here.
