Position Overview

The Director, Clinical Vendor Operations & Workforce Strategy plays a critical leadership role in advancing CINQCARE’s clinical operations by overseeing vendor partnerships, enabling strategic initiatives, and optimizing workforce planning. Reporting to the Senior Director of Clinical Vendor Management and Analytics, this role leads the Joint Operations Committee (JOC), drives implementation and operational transitions, and delivers executive-level insights through data analytics and reporting. The Director will ensure vendor alignment with CINQCARE’s clinical goals while supporting scalable, high-quality care delivery. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Vendor Performance & Strategic Partnerships
    Lead oversight of clinical vendor relationships, including SLA development, performance monitoring, and issue resolution. Chair Joint Operations Committees (JOCs) to ensure alignment with CINQCARE’s clinical standards and drive continuous improvement.
  • Clinical Program Implementation & Transition Leadership
    Direct the implementation and operational transition of new clinical programs in partnership with internal teams and vendors. Ensure seamless onboarding, execution, and post-launch performance monitoring.
  • Workforce Strategy & Operational Optimization
    Develop and execute workforce strategies that align vendor capabilities with CINQCARE’s clinical goals. Optimize staffing models and resource allocation to support scalable, high-quality care delivery.
  • Data Governance & Executive Reporting
    Oversee vendor data extraction and reporting processes. Ensure data integrity and deliver actionable insights to executive leadership through high-impact reports that include KPIs, quality metrics, and operational benchmarks.
  • Contract Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration
    Manage vendor contract compliance, renewals, and evaluations. Collaborate across departments to align vendor operations with strategic initiatives and represent clinical operations in cross-functional planning and decision-making forums.
  • Leadership: Support the Senior Director in executing strategies that drive value in clinical operations.
  • Strategy: Contribute to business strategies that improve outcomes, enhance operational efficiency, and support external growth opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Partner with other departments to ensure cohesive and effective vendor and data solutions.
  • Expertise: Provide subject matter knowledge in vendor management and clinical analytics.
  • Culture: Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in vendor management, clinical operations, data analytics or clinical workforce management.
  • Expertise: Proven experience in performance tracking, reporting, and vendor oversight.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and project management capabilities.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of clinical metrics, KPIs, and healthcare quality standards.
  • Education: Advance degree required.
  • Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data visualization/reporting tools.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The working environment and physical requirements of the job include:

Work is performed indoors in a setting with conditioned air and artificial light. Travel to and work in offices or other environments is required.

In this position you will need an to communicate with customers, vendors, management, and other co-workers in person and over devices, sometimes with people who are agitated. Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential. Sitting for extended periods is common. Must be able to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents. Lifting of up to 10 lbs. occasionally may be required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, and FAX machines. Good reasoning ability is important. Able to understand and utilize management reports, memos, and other documents to conduct business.
