Job Description
The Highlands at Brighton, an affiliate of UR Medicine, provides more specialty care services than any other transitional or long term care facility in our region.

We are hiring a per diem Housekeeper to perform general cleaning duties and associated services in resident and non-resident areas.
Shift: 3pm-9pm Weekends/As Needed
Pay Range: $16.50/hr.-$23/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms.
- Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing offices, conference rooms, dining rooms, and common areas.
- Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing restrooms.
- Performs various cleaning duties such as dust mopping, wet mopping, and vacuuming.
- Responsible for stocking and restocking housekeeping closets.
- Responsible for setting up linen carts.
- Spot washes walls, doors, frames and other dust and dirt collecting areas daily.
- Empties and washes waste paper baskets.
- Responsible for picking up broken glass as needed.
- Responsible for picking up blood spills as needed.

Job Requirements
- One (1) year of cleaning experience preferred, preferably in a health care setting.
