Are you highly organised, analytical, and ready to support a fast-paced finance team? Shred-X is looking for a proactive and detail-driven Accounts Receivable Officer – Banking and Client Account Reconciliation to play a key role in managing payments, reconciliations, and client accounts.

We’re seeking an experienced finance professional who thrives in a high-volume environment and can deliver precision in reconciliation and client account management.
- Proactively reconcile daily bank statements, accurately allocating customer payments in our accounting systems
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer account ledgers
- Prepare and issue customer invoices and statements
- Handle over-the-phone credit card payments and cheque deposits
- Manage overdue accounts and support the timely collection of aged debtors
- Monitor and respond to client queries via shared inboxes, escalating where needed
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate financial records and support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- 5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or similar finance roles
- Solid experience in bank reconciliations and customer payment allocations
- Strong working knowledge of accounting ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, AX, Sage, NetSuite)
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience managing high volumes (15,000+ customer accounts preferred)
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
