Job Summary
Under limited supervision uses specialized knowledge and skills obtained through experience and/or formal training to administer and coordinate area/business unit talent acquisition programs. Builds and maintains relationships with target candidates and business partners, including all levels of employees/partners, vendors, university officials, clubs and organizations, faculty members, and department heads. Regular contact with internal and external customers is required to obtain, clarify and provide facts and information.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Develops and maintains relationships with business stakeholders and hiring managers to set early career talent strategy and hiring plans.
• Works closely with internal partners and liaisons (HR, L&D, compensation, etc.) to ensure alignment of recruiting strategy and other efforts that support business objectives; keeps them informed and appropriately involves them in recruiting activities.
• Builds and maintains relationships with target candidates and business partners, including all levels of employees/partners, vendors, university officials, clubs and organizations, faculty members and department heads.
• Sources and recruits qualified university graduates to fill entry-level and intern positions as well as for maintaining the firm’s brand and image on the university campus. Coordinates and facilitates all logistics associated with hosting university activities, including scheduling and conducting interviews and arranging information sessions, activities, and presentations with key clubs and organizations.
• Determines university recruiting strategy at assigned schools.
• Administers and coordinates area/business unit internship programs and leadership pipeline programs.
• Ensures adherence to legal, regulatory, and firm compliance requirements throughout the recruiting process.
• Implements strategic recruiting initiatives (e.g., diversity hiring events).
• Keeps apprised of competitive market and landscape, identifying best practices and recruiting trends.
• Reviews market position requirements in conjunction with staffing needs and related business case.
• Screens, selects, and interviews candidates, determines offer package, obtains approval for offer, communicates offer/rejection to candidates, and follow up on offers.
• Solicit feedback on matters pertaining to university recruiting.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of:
• College and university recruiting and career decision models for today’s college student.
• Employment law and hiring practices, behavioral based interview techniques, tracking processes for applicants and open positions and metrics.
• Firm-wide orientation and line orientation programs.
• Firm’s recruiting policy, procedures and databases.
• Legal requirements and federal and state regulations related to employment.
• EEOC and OFCCP regulations.
• Uniform Guidelines and EEO.
• Interviewing practices and techniques.
• Principles, practices and procedures of human resources administration associated with employment, compensation and classification.
• Needs assessment concepts and processes.
• Facilitation and presentation methods and techniques.
• MS Office applications, experience in Applicant Tracking Systems and other recruiting platforms (e.g., Taleo, Handshake, LinkedIn etc.).

• Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, spreadsheets, and databases.

Education/Previous Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of five (5) years recruiting experience, including two (2) years of campus recruiting experience.

• Minimum of seven (7) years experience in HR Program Management with one (1) year of university recruiting.
