Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is Gippsland’s leading healthcare provider, delivering a comprehensive range of services to our community. We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Allied Health Assistant (Grade 2) to join our dynamic Allied Health team on a Part-Time (0.5EFT) ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide therapy support services across designated areas, working independently or as part of a team under professional supervision.
- Assist in implementing therapy programs, documenting client progress, and communicating outcomes to patients, families and staff.
- Contribute to quality improvement activities and the development of effective service delivery systems.
- Support the education and orientation of Allied Health Assistant students and Grade 1 AHAs.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain a commitment to excellence in service provision.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance (essential).
- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (desirable).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to complete allocated tasks promptly and effectively.
- Previous experience in therapy support services within a health setting will be highly regarded.
