Job Summary

Explore a rewarding job in education by working behind the scenes as the Administrative Assistant - Personnel Services for Eureka City Schools in beautiful Humboldt County, CA. The Administrative Assistant position is 8 hrs/day, 5 days/wk, 12 mos/year, and receives a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, sick leave, vacation, and the CalPERS Retirement Program. The Administrative Assistant - Certificated Personnel provides confidential and specialized administrative support to the Personnel department for certificated staff. This position ensures personnel procedures comply with district policies, contracts, and legal requirements; coordinates recruitment, onboarding, and credentialing for certificated employees; maintains secure and accurate personnel records; supports equity-focused hiring practices; and assists with workforce transitions, including layoffs and retirements.
