- Analyzes transactions and activities in order to improve efficiency, productivity and performance of the District, and to disclose and prevent inefficiencies.
- Communicates findings to the appropriate parties and drafts comprehensive reports detailing the audit scope, findings, recommendations, and management’s action plan.
- Protects confidentiality of records and information gained as part of exercising professional duties and uses discretion in sharing information.
- Travels to audit site locations to ensure compliance with internal procedures , gathering evidence and conducting fieldwork consisting of reviewing records, inspecting relevant items, and preparing organized reports detailing audit findings.
- Reviews, gathers and compiles data pertinent to audits performed by the department.
- Helps draft audit reports and prepares preliminary drafts of audit findings.
- Responds to inquiries from district personnel seeking clarification of audit findings.
- Collaborates with the Continuous Improvement Team and school leadership to conduct year-round auditing schedule including summer audits while school is not in session.
- Assists in the development and presentation of district-wide training based on auditing analysis.

Compensation Range: $24.57 - 34.31/hour
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: To conduct school-based informational audits of district-wide processes, policies, and procedures to support schools in system integration and compliance. The Strategic Process Auditor will work with appropriate parties to provide accurate and timely audited data to identify errors, inconsistencies, opportunities for streamlining of processes and gaps in training and implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS: Associates degree or above preferred. Professional experience with a significant relationship to the above tasks may be considered in lieu of a degree.
