HR Director


This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role is pivotal in fostering a positive work environment, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and aligning HR strategies with business objectives. The Senior HR Manager will lead the HR team, manage employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and organizational development.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities


1. Strategic HR Leadership:

· Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

· Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.

· Support current and future business needs through development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.


2. Talent Acquisition and Management:

· Oversee and manage a recruitment process that includes sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent.

· Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new hires are well-integrated into the company culture.

· Create and manage succession planning and talent management programs.


3. Employee Relations:

· Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.

· Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

· Provide guidance and input on business unit restructurings, workforce planning, and succession planning.


4. Performance Management:

· Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.

· Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning.

· Identify training needs for teams and individuals and evaluate training programs.


5. Compensation and Benefits:

· Ensure competitive and fair compensation and benefits packages.

· Administer and review payroll and benefits programs to ensure they are current, competitive, and in compliance with legal requirements.

· Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.


6. HR Policies and Compliance:

· Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.

· Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

· Maintain and update employee handbooks and HR policies.


7. HR Team Management:

· Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

· Set clear team goals and delegate tasks effectively.

· Provide regular feedback and performance evaluations for team members.


Qualifications:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.

· Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior HR management role.


Skills:

· Strong leadership and team management skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.

· Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies.

· Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

· Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Office environment along with frequent walks on the production floor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $145,000.00 per year
