Riverside Research is seeking a full-time Senior Technical Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance Project Manager to support the United States Space Force, Space Operations Command, Colorado Springs, CO. This position will be part of a multi-disciplinary staff element and weapons system team supporting integration of new weapon systems into existing and future warfighting architectures.
Responsibilities:- Participate in and support weapon system lead team activities tasked with integration of new weapon systems into existing and future warfighting architectures; research issues, prepare meeting minutes, track status of individual tasks, draft white papers/briefings, and present recommendations to senior level decision makers
- Assist in developing concepts of operation (CONOP) and concepts of employment (CONEMP)
- Assist in the organization, training, and equipping of new units to include providing subject matter expertise on basing actions, manning requests, developing training and test plans.
- Provide subject matter expertise in all aspects of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) operations to include planning and direction, collection, processing and exploitation, and dissemination (PCPAD)
- Other duties as assigned
Required
- Active TS clearance with SCI adjudication
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, physics, math, business administration, finance, history, or related fields
- Minimum 15 years experience planning and implementing ISR activities at the Squadron, Group, Wing, Numbered Air Force, Major Command, Combatant Command, Service Staff, or Joint Staff levels; equivalent experience at any other armed service is acceptable
- Experience working with members of the Intelligence Community with an emphasis on Combat Support Agencies and the National Reconnaissance Office
- Familiarity with various planning methodologies to include the joint planning process (JPP); doctrine, organization, training, material, leadership and education, personnel, facilities (DOTMLPF) as a structured framework for analyzing requirements, and the military decision-making process (MDMP)
- Experience working in collaborative teams to achieve common objectives in close coordination with senior level decisionmakers
- Effective/efficient written/verbal communication skills; proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily direction
- Ability to work and interact with technically and organizationally diverse personnel
- Open to occasional travel
Desired
- Master’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, engineering, computer science, physics, math, history, intelligence, or related field
- Familiarity with the United States Space Force (USSF), Space Operations Command (SpOC), National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and United States Space Command (USSPACECOM) organization and mission
- Professional military education commensurate with rank/grade of any service
- Qualification as an Air Operations Center ISR Division Chief (ISRD), Senior Intelligence Duty Officer (SIDO), COCOM collections lead or similar
- Graduate of an advanced warfighting school such as USAF School of Advance Air and Space Studies (SAAS), USA School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), USMC Joint Advanced Warfighting School (JAWS), United States Navy Maritime Advanced Warfighting School (MAWS)
